Tirzepatide is a single molecule that combines glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and GLP-1 receptor agonism resulting in synergistic effects on appetite, food intake, and metabolic function. The initial visit will be a Q & A about GIP/GLP-1s, vitals/ biometric measurements, lab goals (especially for Hemoglobin A1c, fasting glucose and triglycerides) in addition to nutritional counseling. During the fist visit the first subcutaneous injection will be dispensed as well as a self administration demonstration and discussing dosing schedule. This includes 4 weeks of Tirzepatide+ B12 (10mg/1mg/1ml) weekly SQ injections.
