Suture Removal

Service Description

Non-absorbent (non-dissolvable) sutures are usually removed within 7 to 14 days. Suture removal is determined by how well the wound has healed and the extent of the surgery. Sutures must be left in place long enough to establish wound closure and supporting internal tissue strength. The wound line must also be observed for possible separations before suture removal. Dr. Estrella Sandoval-Becker, NMD will asses the wound to determine whether or not to remove the sutures. Removal of sutures are made on a case to case basis & start at $20 and go up in price from there.
